How to boost up energy to study?
Today in this blog, we are going to explore what actually is low energy level, what are its symptoms, what are its root causes, and how to treat it so that a student can focus on his/her studies and get the best result out there.
Before we begin, I would like to bring my own context here. When I was in my high school, I was one of those count few nerd students who would study for hours without taking a break. I would study more than what a student would normally think to study. I was enjoying the process earlier on. But when months passed I began to find it harder to retain what I had studied. I didn't know for what reason that thing happened. My brain just couldn't function properly. It was like having a foggy brain(a condition where you don't remember what you have studied, and poor focus). The symptoms were mild; no one around me could tell that I was suffering from what I was suffering from. But internally, I felt a little bit uneasy.
I started taking medication, I went to a chemist nearby and he prescribed me some medicine. I took it for a month. But nothing changed significantly. It was like taking a bucket of water out of an ocean. Then, I lived with this condition for several months.
I got dengue after some months, and I was completely bedrest for about 20 days. I didn't take any rice, vegetables, and lentils during this time. I took only fruits. Ex. papaya, banana, and apple(that too in a very small quantity). When I recovered from that disease, I felt super energized. I had stopped having junk foods(fried foods, and packaged foods) completely. I again tested my body with junk food. After a day, I felt a little bit of dizziness. Then I made a commitment which took a lot of courage to take but I took it.
"I won't have any junk food from now! If I ever come to the condition of taking it, I'll exercise and burn the whole calories that I've consumed with that food, on the same day." The statement was pretty intimidating to myself at the first glance, but since the commitment was made I stuck to it no matter what. On top of that, I began to exercise regularly. I started with 20 pushups a day. Gradually I began to feel the shift in the energy level in my body which motivated me to continue and level up the exercise on a daily basis. My mental health gradually improved and after the continuation of 1o months of that exercise, I was in the best state of my brain that I ever felt.
When I look back on my own journey I find the following solutions:
1. Be alert when you are feeling something's wrong with your body
2. Do not treat symptoms! Identify the root cause and solve it.
3. Have healthy food, have knowledge of nutrition, and avoid junk completely.
4. Exercise regularly.
5. Experiment with your body yourself taking a conscious calculated risk.
6. Do not solely rely on what the chemist suggests.
7. A minute of good taste on your lips can cause permanent pain in your hips.
In conclusion, Health is the most important thing(not for giving speeches and writing essays but actually in pragmatic life). Your body is the most expensive real estate. Own It, when you have it. Otherwise, you're going to regret it when you have all the things fall into your hands other than health. Good Luck!
